SMT Reflow Ovens

A reflow oven is a machine used primarily for reflow soldering of surface mount electronic components to printed circuit boards (PCBs).

Convection reflow ovens have many advantages including vast improvements in heating uniformity.
Inline conveyorised reflow ovens contain a belt conveyor system and multiple individually heated zones followed by cooling section(s). Each zone can be individually controlled for temperature. The air heat in chambers and spread by fan within the oven. The most modern reflow ovens use closed-loop convection.

Infrared reflow ovens can be a small batch (box) style. They are used for prototyping and have ceramic infrared heaters.

Reflow ovens may use a combination of infrared radiative heating and convection heating, and would then be known as «infrared convection» ovens.
